DNP vs Conductor

DNP and Conductor

Last checked: 8 Nov 2026. Scope: the public positioning in our notes, plus DNP facts from this site’s pricing and block copy. This is not a review score.

DNP. A local macOS canvas for Claude Code and Codex. You decide what gets merged. Free is available; Pro and Team are waitlists.

Conductor. Conductor is a Mac app that runs multiple coding agents — Claude Code, Codex and Cursor — in separate workspaces, with review and merge.

How the work is organized

Each product keeps its own frame. There is no arrow that declares a winner, and a feature that was not in the notes is not drawn as missing.

When to pick each

Choose Conductor if

  • You want several coding agents, including Cursor, each in its own workspace.
  • Review and merge across those workspaces is the job you need done.
  • You want that workspace-per-agent model rather than one shared block canvas.

Choose DNP if

  • You want one canvas where a brief, a terminal, tests and a reviewer seat stay visible together.
  • Claude Code and Codex are the supported CLIs. Cursor is not listed as a DNP agent.
  • You want approvals and transcripts on the Free canvas, with enforced gates still marked coming soon.
